The flower girl looks so pretty and sweet, in fact sometimes she upstages the bride! These cute toddlers with their angelic faces and baskets of flower petals sprinkle them as they walk down the aisle. Or some flower girls ring bells as they walk down the aisle saying "the bride is coming! the bride is coming!" Not every toddler is ready to face 200-something people for this duty. A bride needs to be prepared for the possibility that the flower girl chosen may balk at the very last minute. Children sometimes make noise. The unpredictability of children can be charming -- but brides that want to control every moment of their wedding may prefer to have children sitting in the rows as honored guests.
