You can save significantly on wedding gowns and other acccessories if you are open to purchasing a dress that has been worn before.  Wedding gowns are only worn once so chances are you will find a great deal on ebay or in a consignment shop.  Be sure to read the description thoroughly and ask questions about sizing, whether it has been cleaned, return policy etc.  Also keep in mind that if you purchase at a discount on ebay you might also be able to resell it after the wedding!
