You know a wedding invitation by sight when it comes in your mailbox: a wedding invitation is simply more special than anything else. The traditional invitation is larger than a regular greeting card envelope. It is often pure white or ivory on creamy thick paper. The writing is usually a beautiful calligraphy or elegant looking handwriting. Many bride-to-be's have also preferred to use what the Post Office refers to as their "wedding stamps" which are the LOVE stamps or even a romantic styled stamp that comes out each summertime. This stamp can be used especially for all of those invites that will be sent during the summer season. But wedding invitations today have gotten quite unique and even a bit wild. You can find them every color of the rainbow and to suit every couple's personal style. There are scuba-themed wedding invitations and barbeque-themed wedding invitations. There are many resources available that can design an invitation that is right for you!
